Every day we treat devices with spill damage. In order to achieve a high level of success we need the right tools. Once the liquid enters the machine it picks up and dissolves all sorts of dirt particles collected in the machines over time. Eric is treating a MacBook Air 13″, 2012 from a spilled coffee and cream incident that rendered it DOA. Simpler methods of cleaning the board with isopropanol were not enough to find and remove the faulty short. In comes the UltraSonic difference.
This particular unit uses a sweeping frequency range and heated sink to sweep scrub the board like a million invisible swirling brushes.
Instructions
- Pre-Heat Temp to 65C
- 10ml of Branson Electronic Cleaner to 1L distilled water
- Place board face down 2min
- Flip once horizontally.
- Flip once vertically
- Let Cool in a cool 99% iso bath for 2o minutes, be Fire Safe, vapours must be vented and contained
- Let dry for 6 hours – 24 hours
